RaMaDaSa is a depiction of a chant I learned while studying yoga that serves to send and receive healing energy to and from the world.

I began each painting session with a focused period of meditation and chanting, I then played this chant on a repeated loop throughout the painting process.

Perpetual Motion explores the use of line and color to create rhythm and convey the sense of constant movement in a static image. For each work I select a track of music that I play in a constant loop throughout the painting process. This allows me to get swept into the music so that I can use its rhythm and melodies to help orchestrate the painting's composition.
