Unseen world—This painting emerged from the lingering impressions of an Alaskan cruise—not from the towering glaciers above, but from the unseen world below. As the ship moved steadily through vast, dark waters, I found myself captivated by what might lie beneath: the mystery, the silence, the unknown forms moving in the depths. Back in the studio, I gave shape to that curiosity. This work is not a literal depiction, but an imagined descent into the ocean’s hidden layers.
